this past weekend, we had my daughter baptised.
She enjoyed it very much! She was not the only one who was a "big girl" and that was nice also. It was truly a great day for me as well. She was dressed by her God parents and rode with them to church. She loves them so much! I know we made the right decision.
she kept asking questions, and really good ones, some were silly- and she is only 5 yrs old.. so i expected that much. but i love that she was old enough to truly experience it... not that i regret the baptism of my infant boys.. it was just different with her.
She is a ham, and very girlie but also a bit of a tomboy- and who can blame her with 2 older brothers. We had a "party" afterwards at our house-
with a jumper because , what the heck! the kids love them... and apparently so do a few adults! everyone had a great time!![]()
I truly had a great sense of peace as i watched all of my children in church that morning, ![]()
My oldest was really attentive to what was going on, and my other son, well, he is his own person. he entertained himself and that is all we can ask of him... i did not get many pics of him but he will remember this day thru our many scrapbooks anyhow...i just hope i got some good pictures ,
my little sister was in charge of pics..
.im afraid to look at them actually!! LOL!!
God bless !!
