Why South Carolina? Whats there that makes you want to call it home?

I spent a lot of time in South Carolina as a child at my grandfather's farm. He had animals, fruit, vegetable, etc so the living was excellent!!  Life was slower and as a city kid, it was a learning experience. Fast forward to 2008: my parents have retired and relocated to South Carolina, I visited and it not the same, but I love it!!Not too many farms, but a lot of beautiful homes and nice people. I always wanted to live there, but the only thing that is holding me back is the fact that my son is autistic and they don't have the knowledge or means to service  or educate him. Most of my family that still calls New Jersey home are relocating to either South Carolina or Georgia. This year alone, I have had 7 family members move. We are close knit, so we move in packs! I'm sorry if my reply was long, but I get excited when I talk about my family or the south!! City born but total Southern bred! What are some things that you would like to see come into existence in 5 years??

wink
