I need a business mentor!

I joined a mineral makeup company last May and while I love them and their products the person who was supposed to mentor me didn't really and I don't want to ask someone else in the company to mentor me because I don't want to make her look bad since everybody knows who signed up under whom. She answered my questions when I had them but she didn't really help me with the ropes and then I believe she retired and left the company! Maybe i'm just the slow kid but I'm definitely putting more money into this business than i'm making. I know there's a lot of moms out there who run multiple successful businesses from home and I'd just like a rub elbows and maybe get some tips. I was told that if I followed the examples of other consultants and posted on the list of boards they provide that I should be making money in the first week of each month but somehow that's not happening for me.
I've posted on all kinds of message boards, handed out business cards, I have a myspace and a blog for my business, I tried a sample exchange which didn't get me any business, I tell everybody I know about the minerals and how much I love them but it just doesn't seem to be working.
So if you have it in your heart to help a struggling work at home mom out so I can actually be successful before my first year is up and I drop the whole thing, I would REALLY appreciate the help.

Hi -

I am an Independent Consultant with Arbonne International.  I would be happy to help you any way I can.  The only problem is that each company has a different way of doing things so I may not be giving you the best advice for your exact company.  Since the person who signed you up retired, you should be able to go to the person who was above her for assistance.  At least that's the way it typically works.  I have been a rep for Pampered Chef before also and it worked the same way there.   Please PM me and give me more info so I can assist.
