1 Year Later

My son is breastfed. It has been a year and I can not figure out how to get him to stop. He uses it more as a Binky than nurishment. Soon, I will start him on whole milk and he has to stop nursing. I refuse to give him both...errr...

Apr. 9, 2008 at 6:36 PM what i did, i kept my son busy throught out the day, and he wouldn't really think too much about it. if you are planning a vacation or having people in from out of town for a few days, that would work wonders. we got to nighttime feedings and he wouldn't let that go...i just kept shortening them and shortening them. it was harder for me than him. we stopped at 13 months. i would try to give your son some whole milk though, my son is 17 months and STILL will not drink milk at all!

my daughter's the same way and doesn't like cow's milk. and she's freaking 17 mo
