Shutterbugmama's Journal

I've tried to be quiet; It's impossible.

I have few words as I fight off a migraine, but blessings (typed quietly, in a low lit room) will serve me well.

1. Thank you God for Day 3 of Spring Break!  The kids and I had a great day, AGAIN...so good in fact, that they'd have stayed.  The older SS kept arguing to stay longer, so we've arranged for them to stay the night tomorrow night (or usual "Family Night").  They're excited about a slumber party in the living room with their brothers, and IM excited to get them back in he morning.  I've really enjoyed this time.

I have really enjoyed the time I've spent with my 4 boys.  Its been SUCH a blessing.  They are so good for me.

I hope to be good for them.

2. Thank you God for picnics at the skate park.  We had so much fun together, eating Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich's on wheat bread, fresh berries and Hav'a Chips.  Oh, Hav'a Chips are so addicting...

Aiden got angry when I said he had to eat more sandwich before having more chips.

So, he marched off...and sat alone.

And glared at me.

He was so mad.

He finally had 1/2 a sandwich, but then was "too mad to eat da Chits", he said...so, off he stomped to play..but not before looking back with one final look...

Where does he get this stubborn side?

3. Thank you God for FUN AT THE MARKET!

The sign said, "Find the "Gold Nugget" hidden inside the store, and win a PRIZE!"

I love Trader Joe's...

LEAVE IT TO MY KIDS TO FIND THE NUGGET!

Anthony and Andrew were the grand prize winners of 2 suckers. See the nugget in the top of the picture??  The big gold rock on the very top shelf. : )

It was great; you'd have thought they won the lottery.

And Lisa, Totally Sweet Tart, these are ALL for YOU.

The whole display at Trader Joe's.  (Isn't this BEAUTIFUL!?!?  It smelled heavenly).

I got myself a bouquet.  Here are the kiddos by the car with our RE-USABLE GROCRY BAG, and my flowers...and their stickers and smiles and suckers...

Best shopping trip we've had in a while...it's what you make it, Mama's...

It can be a trip the market, OR an Adventure...which would you prefer?

I love an adventure. : )    And, I love my boys enough to teach them that Life is what you make of it

This is so much fun!

4. Thank you God for the safe return of my 10 year old last night...it was awesome to have him back with us today.

It just wasn't right without him here.  Im thrilled he and Anthony found the Golden Nugget.  : )

5. Thank you God for Sisters who make me beautiful gifts, putting all their love, heart, soul, friendship, kind thoughts, well wishes, care, concern, time, passion, talent, ALL into a gift for me.

Im honored.

Jen....This shawls...this PINK shawl, is beautiful.

(There are actually HEARTS in it; you cant see).  Its gorgeous, and I love it.

Thank you.

Here it is, wrapped around my neck today after it arrived...its freezing out; I felt warm, loved....and Jen, this still smells like you.

Thank you so VERY much.

You made me cry.

: )

The power of Sisters, connected friends, spiritual acquaintances, familiar souls...the power in these relationships is incredible.  These women can feel your love, so LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

And count your blessings...and remember to laugh!

Awesome picture of you!  And, Aiden --- I've seen that pouty look before.  He's so cute, even when he's pouting.  So happy you're having fun with all your boys!  They are amazing boys!  You are so blessed!  The shawl is beautiful!  I've already seen a full picture of it.  You MUST take a picture of it with the hearts showing.  It's sooooooooooooooooooo YOU!

Sleep well and I hope you sleep away that migraine.  Love, Mom
