In the hospital

Hey everyone, I have not been on because I was in the hospital. Tuesday I had a bad pain in my side and was throwing up. So I went to the ER and they did a CT scan and it showed i had an inflamed colon. This morning they did a colonostphy (sp) and said they think it is just irritable bowel syndrome. So i am at home right now. Wesley is at my mom's and will be back in the morning.

Apr. 10, 2008 at 3:18 PM which side was your pain on? If it was the right side... I'd go get a second opinion. They told me the same thing, it's IBS, go home and take this medicine, eat a bland diet for the rest of your life, and you'll be fine. 2 days later, My appendix was near bursting when they took it out. The surgeon who did it said that nothing showed up as "abnormal" on any of the tests done, EXCEPT for the fact that when he touched me, I almost kicked his head across the room. THAT told him there was something wrong.

Apr. 10, 2008 at 3:31 PM It was the right side but it is feeling better now. They kept in the hosptial for 2 days and did all kinds of test. If it starts hurting again i will go back

Apr. 10, 2008 at 4:08 PM OH I AM SO SORRY JEN.....I AM VERY HAPPY IT'S NOT WORSE.  TWO OF MY STEP DAUGHTER'S SUFFER FROM THE SAME THING.  STRESS REALLY BRINGS IT ON.  I AM GLAD YOU ARE OK.

Apr. 10, 2008 at 7:51 PM Oh Jen I am sorry, I hope you feel better soon. At first I thought you were gonna say gall bladder, because that is what happened to me after having Dalton. Same thing, pain and couldnt breathe, vomiting. With Annabeth I had to have my appendix out, I told Preston no more babies because everytime I have one I lose an organ LOL. Get well :)
