My friend just informed me that she gave notice to her employer so that she could devote more time to her growing business. Well at least it would grow if she spent more time on it.
Sure she is taking a risk, but she had set a goal to give notice when she got to $1000 month (she's copy writer) and she did that recently.
Are you thinking about making the break for self employment or are you ememployed? Maybe you'll get some inspiration from the information in my recent post. Click here.

I did the same thing back in 2002 .. I decided working for myself was worth way more then working for someone else and doubling their income.
I needed to have more of a show for the effort I put forth! Your friend is smart indeed.
With today's gas prices, rise in food costs and so much more, one can't afford to work for someone else.
Working from home was the best and only choice for me. I think your friend has made a leap of faith and knows he/she has what it takes. Good for them!
