How is it that I meant to go to bed by 10 p.m. and now it's almost midnight?! Where does all the time go?? It seems no matter how hard I try to go to bed early, I always get caught up taking care of one more thing ... and then I remember there's just one other quick thing ... next thing you know it's 1:00 a.m. and I'll be lucky if none of the kids wake up in the middle of the night and I get in 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Sometimes I feel like I cannot survive much longer on this kind of schedule! Studies show sleep is vital to every aspect of our well-being, and can even affect our libido. So, sleep deprivation is a great form of birth control ... and, did you know, a form of torture too? It's true!
