My 10 year old daughter is driving me absolutely CRAZY!!!! She has been sooo moody. In my opinion, this is worse than when I was up with her every two hours when she was a newborn.. at least then I knew what to do to make her stop screaming!
She can be the sweetest girl. But then, BAM! One thing rubs her the wrong way or doesn't go the way she wants it to, and she's an irrational, argumentative banshee. It doesn't help that she can't just let things go. Before, if DH or I told her no, there was no problem. She accepted it. But NOW.... everything turns into a great debate. And she won't let it drop! I'm sure she knows deep in her somewhere arguing with that awful whiney tone isn't going to get her anywhere, but she keeps it up. I swear, there are times I just want to scream "Shut up!!" Oh, and everything is "stupid!" The last two days she's ended up grounded from tv, computer and playing outside because of disrespect. I think I'm suffering more, because she's been constantly in my hair because of it.
She was even a major grouch during our recent disney vacation!
Please, tell me we'll get through this in one piece? Because I sometimes feel like screaming too!
