I am so upset right now.  My husband just got up and noticed that our son had unplugged his cellphone charger and a lamp...big freaking deal!  I told him no and quickly moved him away from the outlet when it happened.  My husband says, "I'm really starting to hate that little brat."  I gave him a look and he said that he was just joking.  Sorry if I don't think that is funny.  I couldn't even say anything I just left the room went and looked at my beautiful little boy sleeping and balled my eyes out.

Hopefully, he didn't say it in front of your child.  They hear all.  Make sure you tell him that you do not appreciate such comments. I tell my son he better behave or he will die a slow and painful death,  but he is 10 and we both think it is funny.  You have to be age appropriate with your comments and a little one will take what you say to heart.

Ouch.  I honestly do not know what to tell you about this one....I mean we've joked that we were going to pack Rhanyn up in a box and ship her off when she's being bad,  and we've stated clearly that she's being very annoying at times.....

But saying that he's starting to hate the little brat is a little harsh.  Has he said anything like that before?  Maybe he was just joking, but as stated above I would let him know that it's NOT a funny joke, and that it could really have an effect on Lukas if he says something like that again...

Good luck, and if you ever need to get away or just talk I'm here!

WOW I think the hate part is what would make me feel bad. I am sorry. Lukas is a very cute little boy and I am sure that it was just a heat of the moment thing but I would have a serious talk with him about it.

The thing is Lukas was taking a nap and wasn't even bothering him.  He just saw something that Lukas had done and said that.  I would never even think that much say it.  I couldn't even talk to him about it but he knows I didn't find it funny.  I just feel like he doesn't care about our son as much as I do sometimes.

Yeah he was stupid for saying it but honestly men don't put too much feeling or thought sometimes behind what they say, all men have a stupid selfish side and we hate seeing it!
