After a crazy few weeks it will be nice to be mostly at home this week. I'll be working a lot, but it will be from my "home office" and that will be nice. A few of us Loudon County Moms had a dinner-out together on Saturday and I really enjoyed myself, the change of pace was good.
Hopefully, my new book will make some progress this week, I'm getting very anxious to see it in print. Meanwhile On a Rainy Day continued to surprise me ( two more emails today from readers who loved the book).
I got to spend a couple of days at college with my youngest son recently and it was wonderful, now maybe I can stay sane until it's time to move him out for the summer (I just miss him so bad when he's gone) AND he's planning on an internship in ALASKA this summer so he'll be gone again....I'm trying to let go - but it's still hard. The other two children are grown with children of their own and I don't miss them - they are still close by and I see them all pretty often, but this last last kid....he's out of state in college...Although I did get some great news last week - he is the number one ranked junior student at Virginia Tech in the Mining and Minerals Department. Well, you gotta love 'em!
