Do you have a nickname? How did you get it and do you like it?

I've had several nicknames throughout my life, rarely do they last for long. However, my sisters call me Ame, short for Amos, and have been calling me that for a few decades! I got this name when we were kids. I used to call Carol "Carol Barrell" and she would reply back with "Janice Amos" (this was before we learned the word "anus", thank God!). Ever since they've called me Ame.

At work my boss sometimes calls me "Bo". This is short for "Janice Bo-Banice". Don't really remember how that came about.

A few of my nieces used to call me Aunt Jana Kay, which is probably one of my faves. I even created my Yahoo! id from this nickname.
