ANYONE know anything about JOOMLA????

Greetings all. The more I read the manual the more confused I get.
If you go to my site: http://works4mom.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=section&id=10&Itemid=32
You will see "Start Right Here" has already been clicked. If you look to the right you will see a bullet with "Start Right Here ( 1 items )" (I want to get rid of that and make it look the the site I have listed below.)
If you click "Start Right Here ( 1 items )" you get the item titles or what will be the item titles.
However, go to this site: http://www.gogreenauctions.com/source/index.php?option=com_content&task=category§ionid=7&id=17&Itemid=62
You'll see "Eco Furniture" has already been clicked and a list of item titles are already there - no need to click some sort of subcategory.
How do I make it look like the Go Green website?
I don't want my members to have to click subcategories to see the information, it's to confusing.
What am I doing wrong?
