Baby next summer??

So I just had my son September 26th, of 2007... so he is about to be 7 months old. I am really sure that I want my children to be close together and plan (for now anyway) on having two more. I am really wanting to start trying again this November which would mean, if we were to get prego at first try, that we would have a baby in July of '09 and my son would be nearly 2 years old at the time of the baby's birth. My husband is a little apprehensive about my plan, because he said that he thinks that only 2 years is too close together. But I think it would be perfect.

My sister and I are 4 years apart, and I think we arent as close as we would have been if we were closer in age. We are of course close now, but growing up I felt like I was required to hang out with my sister who was a lot younger than me.

Anyone out there have children that are 2 years, or closer, in age? How does it work? Do you wish that they were further apart? Or do you like the fact that they are close together?

Any advise would be great... I know November is kind of far away, but this has just been on my mind a lot lately, and I am really wanting our children to be close together, it is just trying to convince my hubby the same thing.

i have three children. my oldest girl is 5, my son is about to be 4 and my youngest girl is 2. between the first and second child, they are 20 months apart. as well as the second and third, they are 20 months apart. so i know what your talking about. i think its great idea! im done having children and i am so looking forward to being out of diapers, big car seats, etc... they are all really close and i wouldnt change the age difference if i could. its totally do-able :D

20 months apart

my youngest 2 are 20 months apart and are 2 peas in a pod. what one does the other HAS to do too. they are 5y and 3y now. they will be both going to school in September one kindergarden and the other pre school (if i can get daddy to let his baby girl go to school)
