Well dh got his PEB results back. he is getting a medical retirement at 50%!  this is a blessing from God.  at 50% he is given more points when applying for government jobs.   he is also has health insurance through tricare PAST the age of 65 which means he won't have to rely on medicare!  the kids and are are still able to have tricare health insurance for a low cost each year.  he has other perks and benefits too!  while we won't be millionaires on his E4 rating for the retirment (which is tax free, another perk)  it will be able to cover our housing payment and heating/cooling bills each month!  we are able to keep most of our military benefits too which is nice.   once his VA benefits kick in, we will probably be getting a bit more.  if dh is rated 100% we will make more tax free than we EVER made with taxes taken out!  almost 1000 more! the only down side to that is that the VA can come back and say that dh can't work anymore which would mean that i would have to go back to work... oh what fun!!!! but hey, we have to make ends meet!

that is our little update for now!  now we are concentrating on getting dh a job near my parents.. but we will have to see. he can also get a job here which he would like as he likes all the people he works with at Gentry.  also he would finish his masters (the army would pay for it) and he could possibly get a job teaching English at CGSC!  which he would love to do too!  so much going on, so many places we could go!
