I got a 2nd job- maybe now I can afford gas....

Woo Hoo!  Just landing a 2nd job... a drag that I have to do it, means 6-7 days a week of work BUT it pays more and its part-time and actually fits perfectly into my already crazy schedule.. how could I not! 

We are in a bad way with money right now... basically none.  Behind on bills, low on food... sucks.  The few bucks we do put together has to go to the damn gas tank so we can get to work to make the money to pay the bills etc... we (my husband and I) both commute to work - not far but it adds up day in and day out and living on the central coast of California is NOT cheap... paying the price at the pump and the rent for living in such a beautiful spot... who knows how long we will last, but we will enjoy it for now! 

So I will just enjoy my last weekend of semi-mellowness until Monday rolls around and its off to the races with both jobs.

Apr. 18, 2008 at 5:46 PM CONGRATS to you! Sorry bout the long week....but...I hope it brings you all the relief y'all need.  I'm on the job hunt myself.  It stinks how much a situation can change overnight...such as in my case.  Here's to both of us finding some financial relief.
