hysterectomy

Full abdominal hysterectomy on May 1st!!  Will be in hospital for 3 days.  We close on the house in Nashville on May 7th.  Daughter graduates from pre-K on the 8th.  Moving on the 17th.  Haven't even started packing or picking child care in Nashville.  Husband says it will all work out.  It reminds me of that Mother Teresa saying..."The Lord only gives you what you can handle..I wish He didn't trust me so much!"

Apr. 18, 2008 at 9:16 PM You will be alright..i had a full abdominal hysterectomy  Aug of 2005..i signed myself out of hospital day after surgery and went home..Rested and had no problems... You will not be able to vaccum or pick up anything heavy though..good Luck

Apr. 18, 2008 at 9:18 PM I live around Nashville area.........when an what area?  It's getting to be nice weather here, 70'2.  But I remember last year we had a late freeze the 1 st of May an killed a lot of stuff........good luck

All I can say is "Girl, you need help!" Don't wait until the last minute. I say hire a moving company because after surgery, you won't be able to do any of it.

Start your childcare search online and set up phone interviews. That way you can weed out and narrow down your person to person interviews to only those you are seriously considering. I'm sure you feel the same as I do that you child is the most important priority. But, lets face it...if you surgery is on the 7th, even if you have day surgery, you won't feel much like going to the graduation. Try to be there anyway. It will be something you will always want to remember and something you will never be able to replace.
