My Pope Visit

Hi girls! Sorry it took so long, but I am still trying to re-coop! LOL
The youth Rally was an amazing experience! It was a VERY long day, started at 6:00am, and I got home at 12:00am.. with lunch and a snack all day! But I got to give my time to these amazing young people who were just great! So many blessing from so many religious people, just amazing! I was just over whelmed with all these kids that are so spiritual, just so great to see! So many thanks and prayers, it felt great! An experience I will never forget!
It was 5 of us in a group, my cousin works for the Archdiocese of NY, and we volunteered, we gave out booklets and bags with water, tickets for food and some info of the POPE...that started at 8:30am, then we did that for about 3 hrs and then went to eat, which was not easy...Lines were 2 hr wait for food. We went to get food with the cops! LOL After that back to handing out bags and booklets...then on to crowd control, well, 32,000 people...not easy!!!! Kids getting heat exhaustion, Parents complaining, just trying to help out the best way we could, I was bringing them to Emt, or getting Emt.. Not easy.. It was a rough day..
But well worth it after the Pope arrived, it was just amazing to see him, like right in front of me! WOW, I will never forget this day!
Then all the people had to leave, and we could not leave until everyone left....OMgoodness! It was like a bad dream, the people just kept coming and coming, then the end of the line...Ahhhh...
WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!

Oh that is sooo great., I was in NYC this weekend too and all the excitement it was exhilerating I just wish I could have stayed for mass yesterday at Yankee Stadium.
