The weather alert radio just went off. They always test it on Wednesday, plus the weather's crappy right now, so I said "it must not be a test." My mom pushed the button to hear the message, and this little girl's voice proceeds to tell us that this is a test of the national weather service. I was a little confused - since when do they test on Thursdays, and employ children? Then it dawned on me - it's Take Your Child to
Work Day and that little girl's mommy or daddy let her conduct a test! It was so adorable. She did a great job, too.
