When I really think about it, women are the strongest beings in all the world. We do so much. We are literally the glue that holds everything together....and we don't always get breaks! Being a mother, I mean a hellified mother, you know, the one that can juggle PTA, soccer, basketball, ironing, dishes, dinner, work, husband/fiancee/boyfriend, bills, house chores while sleeping with one eye open and waking up before the alarm clock goes off...SHE'S MY IDOL!!! Mother's Day is just around the corner. Some of us are blessed enough to have our moms, our bestfriends moms, grandmothers, etc. Some of us do not. My mother is awesome. Though we don't always get along she's done everything in the world for me and I appreciate her. For those women who do not have children as of yet or can not and may be raising a niece/nephew or adoptive child, you're awesome too. Any female can have baby, but that doesn't make her a mother. Mother's are nurturing, strong, firm, responsible, protective, attentive and selfless. If we look at the amount of youth that have beaten, murdered, or have disciplinary issues some of them stem from parents being friends and not parents, young parents, lack of spirituality in the home, or lack of a strong parent (i.e mother). I am aware that it is a family cycle in some cases but somewhere someone has to want to break that cycle. We are living in some pretty rough times now. By the looks of it, the road won't get any better. So, I applaud all women who make it happen day-to-day raising our future leaders, doctors, lawyers, judges, teachers, engineers, entrepreneurs, etc.
