So if you watched the news tonight, you saw the car crash on route 22 in wilkins township. You saw the crumpled white jaguar and you saw the blue pick up truck with the tarp over it. You just knew there was a body under that tarp....that's why they do that.
The man in the truck was a family friend. They attended our wedding two years ago, and adored our little girl. They always asked us to come to dinner, but we never had time. Now, the friend is dead.
If you watched the news, you heard the driver of the crumpled white jaguar ran a red light. The driver was going fast enough to topple the pick up truck to its side. The friend was partially ejected through the passenger side window, crushed by the truck.
I hope the friend died swiftly and did not suffer, although I'm sure he did. I also hope the driver of the crumpled white jaguar faces charges and goes to jail. For a very long time.
The man has a wife and two grown children, both with families of their own. One lives in California and is on his way home as we speak. I hope they don't see the news coverage, but I'm sure they have already. WPXI had their news helicopter fluttering around over the crash for 3 minutes and 49 seconds, going around in circles filming. It was awful.
Looks like I'm going to a funeral sometime this week. Part of me wants to take a trip to Forbes Regional Hospital, where the driver of the crumpled white jaguar was taken. I just want to see the person who could so carelessly run a red light and take the life of another person. Was the driver really in that much of a hurry? I'm just so angry
I'm so sorry for your friend's family and those who loved him. It always infuriates me that people are so damn careless when they drive. I hope that you can remember the good things about him and celebrate his life.

First of all, my deepest condolences. Also, I hope that you can learn to forgive, not for the sake of the driver that hurt your friend, but for yourself. I hope that you can forgive so that you don't have to live with hate in your heart, that is no way to live. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family over this tragedy.
