As Jeremy (3 yr old) and I left the Doctor's office yesterday we were walked to the truck (two blocks) and held hands. Jeremy suddenly dropped to the ground and as I watched him, his little hand firmly planted around a single dandelion tugged and tugged until the stem broke and then his face broke into a giant smile. He looked up at me still smiling and said "mom this flower is for you." I wanted to cry. It was so special. I bent down and kissed him. As we started across the street a woman had been watching from a parked car. She too smiled and waved. Not only did Jeremy touch my heart, but perhaps that woman's as well.
