Cradle to Grave

There is no worry or fear any more.  "No man anymore has any care for the morrow, either for himself or his children, for the nation guarantees the nurture, education, and comfortable maintenance of every citizen from the cradle to the grave."People do not work for self interest, "but service of the nation, patriotism, passion for humanity" just as a soldier does for his country.  And every person respects each other, no matter what kind of work they do because everyone is given a job that best suits them. These happy workers believe in "cooperation" instead of "individualism."  Any able bodied person who refuses to work "is sentenced to solitary imprisonment on bread and water until he consents.

There are a billion Christians on earth. They are divided between Catholics and Protestants. The most famous Catholic leader is the Pope. The most famous Protestant leader is Billy Graham. Neither one has been able to prevent the Catholics and Protestants from killing each other in Northern Ireland.

Obviously, Christianity needs more truth to unite them. 

Mankind is deeply cynical and cannot imagine that there could ever be a world without wars, crime, and broken hearts. 

There has been so much blood shed in history over religious and political ideologies. Nevertheless, we should do as Jesus commanded us -- witness. Our job is to be small messiahs and teach as many people as we can. Most people hate the idea of selling anything -- especially something that most people do not want to hear about. But we have to sell this religious message. We have to be creative and persuasive for God. 

In the last 3000 years of recorded history, there have been some books and writers who had a dream of an ideal world where all mankind lives in peace and harmony as one huge happy family. The most famous book in the world is the Bible. It begins by saying that God created Adam and Eve to be his son and daughter. They lived in harmony in a place called the Garden of Eden. 

Then we read that this paradise they were living in turned into a living hell. They failed to obey God and were kicked out. Then it got even worse. Their son, Cain, killed his younger brother Abel. Then it gets even worse. Mankind forms nations with different languages and nations went to war with each other.

Human history has been a bloody nightmare. All cultures provide some conception of the origin of evil, many of which are remarkably similar.

Ancient Egyptian stories tell of a golden age which was lost by the 'ancestress of woman' and of a serpent. In ancient Greek literature Pandora's curiosity led her to release evil into the world. ... The story of Adam and Eve in the Bible gives us the most information." 

Very few people believe that there will ever be a worldwide utopia.

 In ancient Athens the philosopher Plato gave his vision of an ideal society. Two thousand years ago, Jesus of Nazareth spoke of an ideal world. He called it "The Kingdom of Heaven on Earth."

 2000 years ago Jesus preached that God's goal is for mankind to live in a kingdom of heaven on earth. He was looked upon as a cult leader. The leaders of the established religions of the time were angered at Jesus for saying that God spoke through him at that he knew God's will. They inflamed the people and the Roman leaders such as Pontius Pilete to take him to court. Jesus went to jail, was tortured, and then received capital punishment for being a dangerous radical. 

Jesus wanted everyone to live in a close community of friends. He was not a socialist or feminist. And for those few who did see that he was trying to build an ideal society usually saw him as a socialist -- including the early Christians.

As centuries went by, some began to believe that to be close to Jesus, one should imitate his life and be celibate and not marry as he had. It is also sad that so many well meaning people who loved Jesus have been so utterly stupid.

Because he died before he could educate people on how to be mature, mankind has often thought Jesus meant for people to live in poverty. It is understandable that sensitive men and women would want to this. This world is so brutal and harsh. But they have thrown the baby out with the bathwater.  

God wants people to live in this world even though they are to be, as the Bible says, "not of this world." It is wrong to read the Bible and think God wants some people to never marry, have children and live in isolation. To really find and know God, we must be like God. God is a parent. We must become parents. And God wants his people to witness and convert people to live a pure life. And a life in the world. Because the Pope and his "cult" (by using the definition of anti-cult people) violate the laws of the universe, they must eventually give up their childish ways, grow up and get married. 

'Utopia' an ideal commonwealth in which people have to work only six hours a day, leaving plenty of time for leisure. Everyone lives in a pleasant home surrounded by a garden. Communities have good schools and hospitals. Education is compulsory, and every student learns at least one trade. Food is given out at public markets and community dining halls. The rulers are selected by secret ballot. Lawyers are unnecessary because there are so few laws. 

“America” Seen As New Garden of Eden 

America should have embraced the concept of communal living, instead of only a handful. The biggest reason the 99% didn't and still don't is because all the books and experiments of close communities has always had a fatal flaw. They are socialistic. This means they violate the basic law of the universe that God made for human relationships in communities. That law is the law of Free Enterprise. Socialism is of Satan. Sadly Satan corrupted what God had hoped would be the way everyone would organized themselves. Therefore the study of communal living is a tragic history of a tiny few idealists beating their heads against a wall. 

Capitalism is a social system based on the recognition of individual rights, including property rights, in which all property is privately owned. Under capitalism the state is separated from economics (production and trade), just like the state is separated from religion. Capitalism is the system of of laissez faire. It is the system of political freedom.

 

Socialism- a system of social organization in which property and the distribution of income are subject to social control rather than individual determination or market forces.
