I gathered all the posts I made in another blog related to my son Alexandre in a new blog I created, dedicated exclusively to the journey of raising Alexandre, who is suspected of having PDDNOS. It's not quite what I'd call an ordinary journey ;-)
I made that blog available, hoping that it might help others. I've been hoping to find such things and there may be out there but I couldn't get my hands on it.
I take the risk of unveiling parts of our life to total strangers because most of us, having someone around us with PDDNOS, don't easily find the support or understanding for the situation. Many feel isolated, and I don't know how many more sometimes blame themselves. This can't last forever. I'll be an ice-breaker and open ...no, not fire! *lol* I know it rhymes, but even if it's a battle we fight, our weapons will be love, understanding, sharing, support, awareness and respect.
The blog is called, simply, Raising Alexandre.
