Man does it have its ups and downs.  Ups are those first smiles, and the look when they just stare into your eyes.  Downs are the sleep deprivation and the upset bellies newborns get when foods nursing mommas eat don't agree with them.  And dang if I am not dealing with those!  I cannot figure out what has her belly so upset.  Mylicon seems to help.  But we either need to get a more comfy couch or this little girl needs to start sleeping at night!  Haha:)  I am adjusting pretty well to juggling three kids.  It isn't as hard as I thought it would be.  Alan adjusted really quickly to Katelyn.  He loves to hold her and always wants to help.  Haylee on the other hand, not so well.  She is really jealous and hates sharing Daddy.  Both are really interested in how Katelyn eats.  I am still nursing, so I am haveing to find ways to explain that whole process to them.  Alan isn't too interested anymore.  But Haylee seems to be.  LilMiss has her two week check up tomorrow afternoon.  Hopefully all goes well with that.  Ummmm...last visit to the doc, she got the all clear on teh jaundice thing.  She was back over 9 pounds again!  This little girl eats like a pig!  And when she is actually comfy at night, she sleeps about 4 hours at a time.  It is great.  But to get her to do that, I am sleeping on teh counch with her across my belly or up on my chest.  At some point I usually end up on my side with her on her side next to me.  And now everyone in the house is asleep except me.  Daniel and Katelyn are on the couch.  Alan and Haylee are in their rooms.  It is nice and quiet, a rarity in this house these days!!  Guess I better go enjoy it while it lasts!!
