I am a DV survivor, my daughter's father was very verbally, mentally and physically abusive to me for the 3 years we were together. I have not had contact with him for over a year, actually, closer to two years, because he gave me full custody of Mia (to get out of paying child support) and he moved out of state. Good riddance, I do fine on my own and don't need anything from him.
Well, his sister is on my MySpace, and yes, I keep tabs on him through her page, as I have blocked him from adding me. I see as of a week ago, that he sent her a message "see you sometime in May."
He is back in the state.
I am worried that he will try to get a hold of us, but the only way is for him to go to my work where I had him 86-ed (kicked out) from.
So all of this has gotten me thinking about everything I went through with him and the pain he caused me, so I made some pictures on picnik.com to support Domestic Violence Awareness. Please go take a look, I posted them in my Photos.
One thing, though... I made two of them with my daughter's picture, just a sad faced picture from when she was younger; do you think that is inappropriate, or is it tasteful enough?
So, let me know what you think. I am thinking of making an album for my Myspace, and getting the word out about DV. I don't want this to ever happen to anyone else.

As a survivor, I totally support anything to bring attention to the fight against DV.
