Today I cry!

Recently I have been exploring all of the different groups here on Cafemom, and there is such a variety, there are groups celebrating all the joy's of motherhood, groups discussing the latest shopping trends, and then there are... the other groups, the ones that discuss things we really don't like to talk about because we are terrified that it could happen to our children.  As I sit here and watch my beautiful 2 1/2 month old son, I cry! I cry today for all the babies that have been hurt by the hands of someone who was supposed to protect them, love them, today I cry for all of the baby kaleb's and all of the skyler brooks of the world, I will cry for all of the lost babies, who were wanted so much, but just could not be, I cry for the babies that died and the babies that survive only to have a lifetime of struggle ahead of them.  I cry for the mothers, fathers, and other loved ones that have experienced these horrors.  Yes today I cry.

May. 13, 2008 at 11:00 PM wow, i def. agree with you. Baby Kaleb is the sole reason my daughter will not be in the care of anyone else but my husband and I for a long time to come, he made me very aware of what SBS does, and he inspires me everyday i see his pictures!!

Jul. 7, 2008 at 7:33 PM my n12 wk old niece was killed by her own dad in sept this past june25th 08 she would haVE BEEN 1 YR SHE WAS A GORGOUSW BABY THAT I LUV N MISS EVERY DAY THANKS FOR UR TEars for theese angels in heaven
