My 4th Grader picked to represent School - Can I get a "Heck Ya!"

So I have 2 boys my oldest is in 4th grade, youngest in Kinder.  Tonight is the Open House for the Kinder classes, all the parents are invited to go and see the class rooms, schmooze with the parents and all wish we had wine to drink instead of apple juice.. you know that kind of thing. 

Of course i'm very excited to see my little mans room and all his "stuff" but i'm even more excited because my oldest is on the Student Council, please hold your applause, and was hand picked by the principal of the school along with 6 other students to represent our school... basically tonight all the new mommy and daddys and future Kinders will be coming to see what its all about and my guy will be on hand to talk to the parents about the school and the teachers, classes etc. - how cool is that!!!  I am blown away... he is awesome, I love love love my guys - right now I am the proudest mom in the whole damn world :)

So as I type this he is picking out his "fancy" clothes to wear this evening because well, he wants to make a good impression - and with that said, so do I, so off I go to help him find matching socks. 

I LOVE MY KIDS  :)
