Meetups for my local mommies

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have joined two meetups on meetups.com and So far the meetups that Ive been to are amazing not clicky and stuck up! How often do you find woman and children that get along with out all that nonsense? I just wanted to let my girls know that anytime you want to meet up I can email you and let you know whats on our calander or I can invite you to join the groups. I know some groups here are not active at all so I thought this was interesting view. Plus Im trying to get out there more before the new baby comes July 11th!! Alyssa will make her debute so Im trying to get out there and not be so shy and meet some ladies and their children no matter their ages!

I love meetup though, I've met tons of really great friends for me and my little man :) it's really nice to get out of the house and hang out with other mommies! I'm doing the same exact thing as you, trying to have some fun before I'm stuck in the house with a newborn!

I definitely think we should meet at one of the parks soon.  I watch two little girls during the week and so I always have a ton of kids that love to play.  We were hoping to go to the park today, but with the weather so crummy we stayed in.

May. 12, 2008 at 12:33 AM Lucky you...a few of the meetups I am in or was in have the nonsense included. Apparantly, they are still stuck in high school! Pretty sad. Just hope they are better role models to their children!
