Luke and the Spider

I won't post much. I was up until 5 and back up at 7. Luke put on some boots last night - and later complained of his foot hurting.  Long story short we determined it was a spider bite. When he started having symptoms of a Black Widow bite (and didn't know what they were so it couldn't be psychological) I decided to take him to ER.  We had been pumping him full of Ambrotose and Immunostart, and Sport for his muscles. His pain had somewhat subsided by the time we got there, and the doctor was convinced that it wasn't a Black Widow. It had been too late to retrieve the boot.  This morning we did, and there was a typcial Black Widow nest complete with eggsac but no spider. We are sending the sac off to confirm identity.

I am praising God and so thankful!

Ouch! I pray Luke is OK. So if the Dr was convinced it wasn't a Black Widow, what was his determination? Keep us posted.

May. 9, 2008 at 10:44 PM He said all spiders are poisionous to some degree. It could have been any type of spider..... We sent of the eggsac for identification.
