I can't enjoy Mothers Day. I just lost my mom on April 19. I cant walk into a store without wanting to run screaming out of the store. I cry watching TV.  I have to seem excited because I have a wonderful dear hubby and 3 beautiful children who love me so much. My mom was also my best friend in the world. We talked everyday at least once. But, she fell in her bathroom on a sat and died the following sat. We removed life support after we knew she would never come back. I will never put that on anybody. I have never made a harder decision in my life.

Please God I can't do this.

May. 9, 2008 at 9:22 PM I am so sorry for you lost. I lost my Mother two years ago to Cancer. And I still have a hard time around Mother's Day. I have a four year old son. So I do to have to put on the happy face and thinking the whole time all i want is to stay in bed and cry.  I miss her so much that sometimes I don't know what to do.... You Take Care and again i am so sorry for your lost!!!

Jul. 20, 2008 at 3:28 PM I lost my mom April 25, 2007.  She suffered a massive stroke.  We had to make the same decision and put her in hospice.  It is hard, but it does get a bit easier.  I still miss my mom tremendously.  We also talked daily.  Hang in there, it does get better but it will take time.  I still cry off & on and it has been over a year.
