Happy Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day.  We went to breakfast at Mimi's Cafe.  I had the 3 berry stuffed french toast.  Pretty tasty!  I also love their orange juice there....freshly squeezed and served in a tall glass.  We met my mom and brother and his girlfriend for breakfast.  Caden was super good at the restaurant.

After we got home, we let Caden take a nap and then we went to Mike's grandma's house and swam in her pool for an hour or so.  It was still really cold.....70 degrees.  So, swimming wasn't really what we did, more like slowly walked in the water.  Mike's dad, stepmom, sister, brother and uncle were there.  Eventually, his aunt and cousins came over as well.

Mike then made chicken enchilada helper and which we love in a taco shell and then we went to Dairy Queen for ice cream.

 Caden (well...Mike) bought me  flowers and a fung shui candle set. 

It was a wonderful Mother's Day and I look forward to next year.
