Cael's First Scar

Well, it happened this morning. Didn't think that it would happen for at least another year! I was out doing some weeding in one of my flower beds. Cael came to help me. He was having a grand time, throwing dirt out of the flowerbed. He stood up, and ended up tripping and falling into the moss rock that I have in the flower bed. He now has a 1/4- 1/2 inch cut right smack in the middle of his forehead. It's not huge, thank the Lord, I was able to sterry strip it together. Hardly any tears other than scared tears from Cael. He is such a trooper. My sister in law thought I should have gone to the hospital, but seeing other kids and their cuts and scrapes and how the docs treat them - I figured I did just as good of a job for about $400 less. The bleeding was stopped, no concussion.  He made more of a fuss when I was trying to get the sterry strip on. My husbad finally held him down and we got him put back together. WHAT A MORNING!!!

awww!  I know the feeling!  Cade had his first "knot-head" just in time for his 1st brithday!  Big road rash  scab on his forehead in all his pictures!  Then  he started busting his lip everytime we turned around!  He did slow down on the fat lips for a while, but the poor kid is always hitting his head - he has a scar in the middle of his forehead from a couple of months ago when he fell in our gravel dirveway - blood went everywhere, but he was ok!
