Well, I have been so excited because my husband and I are going to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary this summer!  My Mom is going to watch my kids so that makes me very relieved and happy. 

WELL, I found out today that METALLICA is doing a show at Ozzfest the day after we come back from Cancun.  I can't ask my Mom to stay longer, I can't ask my husband to ditch another couple of days of work... that is the busiest time of the year for our business so he said, go ahead and go.  WHAT?  SHIT!  Who wants to go!  I know I can get a babysitter during the day while my hubby works.  I don't even think I can just up and leave everyone after I have been gone for 6 days.  UGH!  I am sure some of you would love to have my problems.. (brat) but This really sucks cause I have been waiting for years to see them again (while I am NOT PREGNANT)!!!!  What would you do?  Would you ditch your family for Metallica?  Would you forget about the concert and count your blessings?  Would you cancel the trip and loose some money but get to see Metallica?  UGH!

 

UPDATE:  I forgot to mention that I am 4 hours away from Dallas.  That is what makes it hard.  If I go alone, I have to fly or go with someone I know.  ANYBODY GOING?

 

As of today, June 4, 2008, we are both set to go to Cancun and we are both going to try to go to the concert BUT, he may not be able to so if anyone wants to buy tickets, I have 2 GA floor, and 1 VIP ticket.  Wish me luck!

OOOOh the last time I saw Metallica was with Guns and Roses and Faith No More at Rich Stadium in 1992/93 in Buffalo.  I saw them at the Pepsi arena that same year by themselves.  I freaking love Metallica. 

I would love to go see them and take my DD with me so I can show her what real music sounds like in concert.  lol

I had heard rumors that they were gonna do Ozzfest..Maybe they will come back when its just them touring..Oh Girl..I don't know what to tell you!!!! When is it...I would love to go..but Hubby would want to go to!!!!!! Let me think about this some more..

WOW I think you should go!!!!  Your fam will understand, I mean, it's freaking METALLICA!  They know how much it means to you....  or at least, they will get over it!!!!

We're missing my honey's sisters' grad from high school to be in Vegas for his 21st... and they were mad at first, but they are over it!  And she is cool with it, she understands....

Family will get over it, I say.
