Sorry I haven't been around

To all of my friends, I'm sorry I haven't been around lately.  For about the last 4 weeks, I have been having bad chest pains.  I had a physical, and they ran an ECG, but one of the leeds wasn't working on the machine.  So, last week, I got a copy of the ECG that was done before I started on the Stop Smoking program.  Well, what are the chances that on 2 machines in 2 different cities have the same problem with the same leed???  Both of the ECG's show a Left Atrial problem, so I called the Doctor when I got the copy, and he is out of town till the end of this week.  None of this is helping the pain, and all of this is because I stopped smoking!!??  And DH is working out of town, I'm having to take care of 17 yo step daughter who is having oral surgery on Friday.....

Can Life get anymore Fun???!!!

Jun. 16, 2008 at 12:36 AM I'm sorry for your troubles and I hope it all turns out OK. Believe me, life can get worse! I'm 53 and been married to the love of me life for 36 years. We are commercial fishermen in Alaska, and for 30 years I've been the deck boss. Four years ago I got cancer for the first time. Then I got a different type a year later. It broke my heart to see that boat leave without me. We had never been apart for more than a couple hours in our whole married life! Just as things were looking up, I broke my back! Now the docs say my fishing life is done. My husband is as miserable as I am, having to work the boat with out me. I'm taking it one day at a time and praying that somehow I can get back out on the boat. Keep in mind how much your husband needs you and I hope our prayers keep you safe.
