HELP.........I THINK THERES SOMETHING WRONG

OKAY LADIES i NEED YOUR HELP HERE, I HAVE 3 OTHER KIDS AND THIS WAS NEVER AN ISSUE...........TRAEVON IS 9 WEEKS OLD AND HE DOESNT SMILE......NOT EVEN A SMIRK OR ANYTHING. WTF IS THIS NORMAL? HE WAS BORN A MONTH EARLY COULD THAT BE WHY? HES DOING EVERYTHING ELSE DEVELOPMENTALLY ON TIME ( LEARNING TO HOLD HIS HEAD AND ATTEMPTING TO ROLL OVER, THINGS LIKE THAT) I PLAY WITH HIM ( BUT TRY NOT TO OVERSTIMULATE HIM) I TALK TO HIM, HOLD HIM, ROCK HIM BUT NOTHING. SOMEONE TELL ME SOMETHING PLEASE!

I wouldn't worry just yet.  He is a month behind.  It may take him a while to catch up.  Paige was born 4 weeks and 3 days early.  For the first 3 weeks she didn't open her eyes, even when she was awake.  Weird huh?  The Dr told me she would be caught up by 9 months.  But if you have any questions you should ask you Dr.

He is behind.  Give him some time.  He isn't really "late" on smiling.  At  months is when he smiles regularly when you smile and talk to him.  Before this age, it was spontaneous and had no social significance. 

Talk to your Dr at your next check up...I still say to give him time.
