Okay I AM a little dramatic but we live in this gorgeous home BUT THE LANDLORD, who we hope to buy from, DID NOT HAVE A WORKING FIRE ALARM/SMOKE DETECTOR in THE HOUSE! We just tested it. He never checked it after the last tenant left! It is international building code AND LAW! WE ONLY HAVE ONE FOR THE ENTIRE HOUSE! Your chances of surviving a fire are 51% better with one! Our house is like 100% pine wood!!! I wonder what COlorado law is? I bet it's having one in each ROOM not just ONE BROKEN ONE! We've been here two months! I am ANGRY! I value my kids' lives HIGHLY! By the way just putting new batteries in it did not make it work we needed it REPLACED. We had to get a NEW ONE! It was USELESS!
