If I could raise my kids over Again (just food for thought, obviously I am still raising mine)

If I had my child to raise all over again....
id finger paint more and point the finger less
id do less correcting and more connecting
id take my eyes off my watch and watch with my eyes
i would care to know less and know to care more
i would take more hikes and fly more kites
id stop playing seriously and seriously play
id run thruogh more fields and gaze at more stars
id do more hugging and less tugging
id be firm less often and affirm much more
id build self esteem first and build the house later
id teach less about the love of power and more about the power of love

Hind site is always so clear!!!  I too would do the same!

Now I look back and think of what I would have done differently but was too young and impatient to realize how neat my kids were and still are!  I love seeing how they are raising their children and they seem to have learned what I yearn to do over!  Life is a blessing!
