I had the funniest mommy moment a little while ago.  I left my two kids to paint at their table and went to check on my hubby who is under the weather in the other room.  A few minutes passed and my son is calling me to come See something.  Well it certainly was something to see.  My son had painted my daughter instead of the paper.  He thought it would be cute to paint her in to a butterfly.  (I thought she looked more like a cat)  It was one of those moments where I wanted to reprimand them for painting on each other, but I couldn't stop laughing.  I ended up dragging my husband out of bed to grab the camera and take a few shots of it.  It was so cute, none of us could stop laughing for at least five minutes.  It is one of those snapshots that will always bring a smile o my face.

Mar. 24, 2007 at 10:05 PM I know what you mean.  My oldest son Conrad was with my husband for a week on the road(hubby is a over the road truck driver) Conrad was 5 years old at the time.  the reason he was with my husband was that I was giving birth to my son Jonathan.  At the weeks end  they came to see me and Jon and when he looked at him he cried "I wanted a Sarah".  Meaning he wanted a sister.The doctor turned around and asked him if he could take him home with him and Conrad said sure and asked if he had a Sarah at home where he lived.  Every one in the room laughed and I had to break the news to him that Jon was coming home with us.  Too this day they are good brothers to one another. Kids will say the darnest things.
