rWhile I appreciate that you are advocating literacy and encouraging people who may not otherwise bother to read a book to actually read, I will not be in your book club or reading any of those books. The reason is simple: the books you choose are largely diluted pablum, aimed at the unrefined palate of the masses. Come on! That stuff is the literary equivalent of eating a Twinky! I know you are a smart lady, and these books just imply that you are "dumbing it down" for your viewers' sake.

Meanwhile, I am compiling a list of  books and authors for you to read. It includes previously banned books and subversive authors. I'm sure you'll love it!

Great post!  It'd be great to see her throw in a few classics or food for thought books rather than her usuals.

You should add that list of books to this post, as well!
