I'm asking anyone who reads this journal, please next week say a small prayer for my family. The reason I ask is for my mother. To a long story short, a few days after christmas my mother has emergency surgery to save her life, while they were doing the surgery they found a tumor. A week and a half after surgery, they diagnosis my mother with stage 3 colon cancer. She has completed 1/4 of the scheduled chemo treatments, but had to stop treatment right now because they need to do another surgery next week. This wasn't a planned surgery (it was supposed to be...

I work part time as a manager of a vet hospital. After my son was born, I wasn't going to go back, but my boss wanted me back and told me to bring my son with me to work. I work 2 days a week when our clinic isn't seeing appointment, just surgeries. Well my boss called me in today and said some people are complaining about who I hire and how I hire, they think they should have input and most of all my son being there. I really don't give a dam about what they think about who I hire, that's between me and my boss. But this bull crap about my son...

I read someone post tonight and she was talking about people TTC and how it annoyed her, that they talk about. She put a comment in there that just rubbed me wrong, I sure she didn't mean anything by it, but it makes me wonder who else thinks this. (Basically it's up to God wether you conceive a child or not) For some of us, it isn't that simply or easy. I get frustrated when people don't get the concept that if you can conceive "normally"and have a child; you don't know what kind of blessing that is and what kind of hell people go through who can't conceive "normally" to have a child....

Last night my son fell down our stairs and hit the marble landing at the bottom. I was horrifed, I saw he fall, but couldn't catch him. I feel so so guilty and upset at myself...........He ended up (thank god) with a fat lip and bloody nose only......I feel like I a bad mom, I suppose to protect him and I let him fall......... I didn't sleep last night, I just watched his sleep all night.......
