Last night I dreamed that I received a check for 78 Million dollars, and it felt extremely real. I remember every emotion I felt, and my actions after I received the news. I was laid off on 9/11, and I have a new job starting Friday promoting local events. I have to go out to different businesses and promote our company, while soliciting our services. Trust me, I am still looking in the mean time just in case it is not for me, but I am hopeful. I will get paid a hourly wage, plus commission.
The company does weddings, baby showers, pageants, fund raisers with the daycares, and schools, and on and on. She needs me to do the marketing part, and I will get a gas card, cell phone, and laptop. I think I will love it. Being at...

My oldest son, Joshua was diagnosed with the swine flu yesterday. I was reluctant to share this with cafemom at first, because of the negativity I sometimes encounter. However, I believe this could help someone else, so here is his story.

For those of you that wonder what I have been up to, I recently became one of the unemployed, and I am able, available, and actively searching for work daily as the automated system instructs me. I am entering into another dimension of my life, and though the transition is not easy, it is welcomed. Truth be told, I realize that this post will offend many, but it is not meant to be a drama starter. My heart has been burning to share this for a while, and the time has come.
Many have told me that I am the reason non-believers look down on Christianity, and for the life of me I find no truth in those statements. I have only been in the earth thirty years, and before I was a seed in the nut sack of my father, Christianity has had a bad name.
How can I give Christians a bad name when I am not even a Christian?...
