Mom I Am! (Dr Suess for Nursing Moms)

Comments (1)
I found this last night ! It is awesome! HAD to share! Dr. Seuss for Nursing Moms   Would you nurse her in the park?Would you nurse him in the dark?Would you nurse him with a Boppy? And when your boobs are feeling floppy?I would nurse him in the park, I would nurse her in the dark. I'd nurse with or without a Boppy. Floppy boobs will never stop me. Can you nurse with your seat belt on? Can you nurse from dusk till dawn? Though she may pinch me, bite me, pull, I will nurse her `till she's full! Can you nurse and make some soup? Can you nurse and feed the group? It makes her healthy...

A sandwich VS a life... You choose!

My son is not yet school age.. but i have been seeing numerous posts and questions in the past couple weeks about people annoyed with peaunt ban in schools... Some even have went as far as to say that this is denying their own child nutrition, that these allergic children should be put in seperate rooms or that their parents should proved lunch and snacks for other kids! I have even heard mothers say they will still pack peanuts for their children .. what can the school do? Now i was lucky enough not to have a child with a peanut allergy but i grew up in  family where allergies...

I HATE BYERLYS! And for a VERY GOOD REASON!

Comments (3)
So I rarely shop at Byerly's cuz i feel their prices are very high.. however the bank i use has branch in the Byerly's store.. so that's really the only time i go in there.. well i went into the bank today and the branch manager refused to do something and told me he "just didn't feel comfortable notarizing my letter" but to go to another bank and they would do it.. I told him why couldn't he.. he said he could but didn't feel like is was necessary cuz it was not a legal document (it was a letter from target stating i had purchased my camera but lost receipt.. i needed this notarized in...

Dear Mr Biker,

Comments (24)
I saw your on the hiway today as your were getting ready to go into the next lane. I heard your bike and saw your signal. I was paying attention. I shared the road and let you pass. I saw you wave at me at you passed. I also our daughter on the back of your bike wave too. I saw that neither your nor your daughter were wearing helmets or safety gear.  And i just wanted to tell you PLEASE WEAR THEM! You may look funny, or fell hot and uncomfortable but you (and your little girl who couldn't have been more then 10 at the very most) Will be alive and safe. I SAW YOU! I SHARED THE...

The Middle Wife

Comments (52)
I just got this in my bulk.. I usually disregard my bulk  but this was too funny not to share ENJOY! The ' Middle Wife ' by an Anonymous 2nd grade teacher I ' ve been teaching now for about fifteen years. I have two kids myself, but the best birth story I know is the one I saw in my own second grade classroom a few years back. When I was a kid, I loved show-and-tell. So I always have a few sessions with my students. It helps them get over shyness and usually, show-and-tell is pretty tame. Kids bring in pet turtles, model airplanes, pictures of fish they catch, stuff...
