I have to tell you what happened on my 50th birthday. It was kind of a special day because I turned fifty years old and my husband and I had a group of children from our kids elementary school coming over for a couple of hours to tour our studio. We are the creators of the kids show called "My Bedbugs". These kids are also there to do their morning news from the My Bedbugs set. Well, I go out there to meet the kids and bring them through the studio. While I'm giving them the grand tour, my husband walks in to meet the children. After he says hello to them he immediatly looks at me and asks,...

Hi honey,
Well, let me tell you of our lovely day at the vet. To start with we, me, Ryan, Chris, Kelsey, (THE KIDS) Kaiba (THE CAT) and stupid Hannah (THE DOG)get to the Humane Society Animal Clinic early by a few minutes. Being on time for this bunch is a feat in itself. The dog goes ballistic because she sees other dogs in the parking lot, so she tries to get out of my window and ends up scratching the %@*#^! out of my leg. I get out of the car as fast as I can to avoid any more injury to myself when I am greeted by Ryan, (THE ELDEST) grabbing the leash from me to muscle the dog...

I love to read about the different nick names some parents give their children. Do you have a funny story or a cute nick name you have given your child or maybe your parents gave you? Write to me and tell me your story. I would love to hear it.
Thanks, Carol

When I sat down to write this blog people told me I had to be an expert at something. Then I thought, am I an expert at anything? Not really. Then it struck me that there is one thing I am very good at, maybe even an expert at. I am an expert struggler. I’m a working mom who is struggling the same as all the other hard working moms trying to keep their house clean and keep the kids in line and bring home a paycheck. One little difference is, my husband and I are trying to launch a children’s television show called “My Bedbugs” nationally and internationally.
This blog is...

The characters Gooby, Toofy, and Woozy from the children’s show “My Bedbugs” are actually modeled after my children, Ryan, Chris, and Kelsey. Ryan is my eldest son. His nickname began as Gooby, although his nickname has now morphed to “Goobage” or “Goobs”. I don’t know why it changed, but it did. I’ll say “Goobage” and he (Ryan) replies back with “garbage.” We just laugh.
Ryan’s original nickname “Gooby” was given to him because when he was a baby he would always go cross-eyed. My husband and I would look over at him sitting in his highchair, looking...

Our Emmy Award winning childrens show, "My Bedbugs" just signed with Trinity Broadcasting, and now we are in over 100 million homes. I was just wondering if any moms out there have seen the show. Let me know if you have.
