Be the first to comment Jeff, Nathaniel and I welcomed Christian Dean at 8:10 on June 11th. He weighed in the most of my three boys with 8 pounds and 6 ounces (though he did lost 10% in the hospital) and he was a respectable 20.5" long.
He sleeps a TON and is playing hell with a *normal* nursing schedule. Though i am getting some sleep at night :) Sometimes. LoL
I've received a few offers from friends to come hang out, but is it weird that i am shy about doing it because i am nursing? Id LOVE to actually see other people, but for as loud-mouthed as i can be, i am shy...

Be the first to comment So today is my last day at work, presumably until September providing I actually get an offer letter from this new company and can return after my FML. We don't have 'net at home, so I don't know how often I'll be getting to the local library to use the internet with a newborn and 6yo during the summer, so we shall see.
I am due the 18th, but am having a c-section this Thursday, the 11th which the baby will probably hang in there for as I was told I hadn't dilated yet at all Friday (which doesn't necessarily mean anything of course!) I will KIT as much as...

Comments (1) Nate had his Talent Show today. There were 36 acts, only 15 of which were NOT singing. Ugh. There are only so many High School Musical and Hannah Montana songs I can take. Nate was (lucky) #13 and was the only one doing jokes. Now, to me, having heard them 150 THOUSAND times, they no longer seemed funny. Well, ok, that's a lie. The first one is still hilarious to me, however corny it is. Anyway. He was an absolute riot! The kids laughed, the adults on the balcony laughed, even I laughed...and they were all CLEAN, Kindergarten-style jokes. I was so happy for him! He's SO not like me -...

Be the first to commentOk, so i figured that the best way to keep from flaming is to not comment on a group post, but to post my particular opinion (since I wasn't the OP) about people's attitudes in my own damn journal. That way, if you don't like it, HIT THE BACK BUTTON. I'm not invading anyone else's screen unless you choose to.<p>
So there's a group post that I read and posted my particular opinion to where the mom was looking for some 411 on circumcision. Of course, we all have our opinions and experiences, and I thought that that's all it was for. Give the mom some real-world, already-done true story...

Oh my he went there!
Comments (4) I've been meaning to post this since last weekend but things got hectic.
Last weekend, Nate crawled into bed to cuddle with me in the morning, which he does often on Sat/Sun AMs. I had turned on the news and we watch it almost daily. Unfortunately, last week an 11yo girl was abducted and molested (and released otherwise unharmed) so Nate was listening as the reporter said she was 'taken into an abandoned house' and the man 'had sex with her.'
I wasn't totally expecting it, but was still quick enough when i got the, "Mommy, what's sex?" So I explained only...

Be the first to commentSo either Wed. or Thurs. my 2yo nephew - aka my SIL - calls me on my cell while I'm at work. After I spoke with William a bit, Jackie and I were talking and she was either very nearly or just over-due. She was explaining how she was asking her OB if there was anything she could do to speed it up/help it along, etc. I told her to give the hubby a chance *wink* Either she took my advice or the baby was afraid she would, LOL, because she apparently went into labor yesterday and gave birth to my newest nephew!! YAY!!
