So Riley took his first 3 foot plunge in the dirt yesterday. It was wonderful; dirt in his mouth, up his nose, blood dripping from his teeth, upper and lower lip...did I mention he landed face first? But instead of crying because he was hurt, the lil trooper began to cry because his panic stricken mom brought him inside:~) Shame on me, I am so mean!!! I thought for sure he would wake up this morning with a fat lip but no, he is doing fine. Does anyone have any plans for the weekend? Your Friend,Brandi

Sorry it’s been a few weeks guys, we had two deaths in the family in the same week. One of which struck close to home, as I found myself having
to explain to my seven year old why a man chose to take his life
instead of fathering his two children.
Obviously the pain he felt in his heart went deeper than we all knew.
Yet still I ask, WHY?
I am going to take the next two days to get my barrings straight,
spend quality time with my children and continue to pray for the two
that lost their daddy.
I thank you all for your words of encouragement, and especially for all those who...

Try using sea salt. The grainy texture of sea salt makes it a super-effective exfoliant! Since each granule is packed with minerals like potassium, iodine and magnesium, sea salt increases moisture in the outer layer of the skin. A quick scrub in the shower will slough away dead skin cells, leaving new skin glowing and extra-supple!
Why Not Make Your Own Sea Salt Scrub?
Ingredients:
1. 1 cup sea salt
2. 1 cup olive oil
3. 1 tsp your favorite essential oil
Mix ingredients together in a small jar and there you have it!Cheers to Soft Skin!Brandihttp://trueoptimalhealth.com

We all over indulge sometimes, but very few of us realize just how powerful proximity can be for promoting that overindulgence. When I worked at Craig Hospital, I swear I packed on 10lbs for each holiday. All of our patients would bring us chocolate kisses to show their gratitude. If you don’t know by now, if it’s in front of me, I’m eatin’ it!
Apparently I’m Not Alone
A study done at the University of Illinois using Hershey’s Kisses showed that when workers kept chocolate on their desk, they ate an average of nine per day. When the chocolate was moved just six feet away, they...

Huh? Yes, you read that right! While it takes fewer muscles to laugh or smile than it does to frown, it has been well documented that both are not only fun, but also play an important in your maintaining optimal health! My mom always told me to stick with a man that could make me laugh over one that was pleasing to the eye! Of course in my teens I thought she had a screw loose, but now I am forever grateful for her wise words. Let’s face it life sucks sometimes, and well, sometimes you just need to drink The Feast and have a good laugh to make it through the day! While Urilife’s The...

Since when is your birthday an excuse to bathe in a restaurant sink? I could think about 50 other ways to spend the day, but apparently this Burger King employee couldn’t. You can read more about the story here.
What do you guys think about the rest of the staff being fired too?
One more reason NOT to eat Fast Food!

While I consider myself pretty informed when it comes to Cancer, when my friend was recently diagnosed I was dumbfounded to say the least. Her Cancer not only took me by surprise, but also her doctors due to her age and her overall healthy lifestyle.
This form of Breast Cancer is apparently sweeping the nation, unfortunately going undetected most times. It is called Inflammatory Breast Cancer. One of the most aggressive forms of Breast Cancer, getting it’s name “inflammatory” by blocking the lymph vessels in the skin of the breast making it often look swollen and red, or...
