Going on vacation!!!

Been a while since I have posted anything. Lots have changed in our lives over the past few months. We now have two beautiful little foster sons. They are 4 and 9 months. They have been such a blessing to us. We are going to take a few days and go camping with them. It will be their first camping trip. I think I am as excited as they are just to experience it through their eyes. Just wish I could shake this darn cold I have. Oh well, it will be fun all the same. Looking forward to fishing, going to nature center and collecting rocks with them. I will post our adventures when I...

Today I mourn with my friend. She had just received, last Saturday night, her first two foster children. Yesterday the judge sent them home. She, her husband and step daughter are devastated. My heart goes out to them and we feel the loss with them. Christa is one of the most amazing women I know and am honored to be her friend. I know that right now is a hard time for her and her family but I want her to know that being a foster parent is one of the hardest jobs to do but is also one of the most rewarding. It is a calling. Not everyone can do what we do and therefore makes what we do so...

Just want to be a mom.
Comments (3)I can hardly wait to become a Mom. I want happy, healthy children with lots of laughter & joy. Can't wait for trips to the zoo or just blowing bubbles in the drive way. Bed time stories, tooth fairies & Santa!!!! I have waited my whole life for that moment. I can only wish to be as good of a Mom as my Mom is. God bless you all.
