I'lI remember the stories you told, The respect you demanded and earned, the faith you lived by 'll remember the smile on your face, the strength in your arms, the compassion in your heart, I'll remember the time you spent helping others, the gifts you gave not bought but given none the less, the patience worn like a second skin. I'll remember the games you played, the ones you lost and the ones you won. The ones you created and the ones you just played. I'll remember the jokes you told, the ones that didnt make sense but we laughed anyway, and the ones that now bring a...

I am so sick of having the same argument with m yhusband.  He thinks the only thing i should be allowed to do during the day is clean for the entire eight hours that he is at work.  which i dont have eight hours its a 45 minute drive to and from taking him to work so i spend 3 hours (1 1/2 in the morning and 1 1/2 in the afternoon) a day on the road cause i pick him up and take him to work. then i spend and hour getting my daughter fed and ready for school so now i am down to four hours.  I spend no more than an hour on meals and learning activities with my son...

I have been struggling with my kids to keep their rooms clean. I scream i yell i take stuff away and still nothing.  SO today i had an epiphany of sorts.  My daughter had library books due today so i told her to gegt htem all in a bag and after lunch we would take them.  so we get almost to the library and she says I think we are missing one sure enough one was missing.  SO i tell her from now on she is going to have to earn the money to pay me for gas to take her places.  That means keeping her room clean and the animals fed.  Period..  Now i am not...

This is a story, really more a compilation of memories i wrote last year i believe and thought some of you especially you military moms might want to read. My father spent 25 years in the navy during some of the most high crisis times in our history. I can't remember many Christmases when he was home. I remember in particular, one Christmas when we believed he would not be home for Christmas. The ombudsman called on the 23rd of December and said "Come...
