Nicolas Gabriel.
Those were the names my husband chose for our firstborn which was to come in our lives on Christmas season of 2000.
I am a late bloomer. I got married at 35 to a man nine years younger than I. We were wed on the day of my 35th birthday and two months later I was already conceiving.
My pregnancy was generally fine at least to my belief because I would have no basis for any comparison yet.

My pregnancy was a very BIG SURPRISE!
We were done having our family. My DH had a vasectomy the month we
found out we were expecting. God had other plan's for us. OK so I was 37......The day of my amnio,I had this gut feeling that it was going to be positive. One
week earlier my doctor had told me to have the Amnio. He had told me
the risk I had was 1 / 266 After talking with him. I agreed. My doctor
knew I would not abort, If there was something wrong, I thought I could
prepare myself and family. At the same time I also would know if I
was having a baby girl ,...

Answer: Psalm 139:14 declares, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” The context of Psalm 139:14 is the incredible nature of our physical bodies. The human body is unique, the most complex organism in the world, and that complexity and uniqueness speak volumes about the mind of its Creator. Every aspect of the body, down to the tiniest microscopic cell, reveals that it is fearfully and wonderfully made.

My son, Ryan is 19 years old. My sister just asked me this morning how he is doing since he is home on Spring break this week. I told her that he is so happy to be home and he has not given me any problems at all. The only thing is, is that he does like to take over the remote control of the TV. He has such a good memory for movies. He can remember parts from movies that we haven't seen in years. Yesterday it was a Three Stooges day. I sat with him and we watched them and I am so amazed at how perfectly he can imitate Curly. Ryan just gets...

I guess the best place to start is at the beginning...
We were living in Indiana at the time. My mother and father knew they wanted 6 kids before they got married and it didn't matter to them if they were biological children or not. They had 4 of us all 1 1/2 year apart. My parents were foster care providers for the area. My mother was a nurse in pediatrics. She loved being with those newborn babies. She had a LOT of patience as you can imagine she needed at home, so she was a natural nurturer. My father worked as an engineer.
There was a baby born with Down syndrome at the...

God knows you better than you know yourself. And, he knows what's best for you too! I am sure of this.
When I was pregnant with my third child, I had some genetic testing done because at the age of 35, I was considered an "aged mother"! I didn't however, do an amnio; that was too scary for me, the prospect of miscarrying my baby.
So, with everything looking great on all of the other tests (1 in 3800 for Down syndrome), I was blissfully awaiting my final baby's arrival.
It wasn't an easy pregnancy. No morning sickness, but at 25...
