I don't know about you but I love cake....especially birthday cake.....so when my Candle of the Month came and the scent was birthday cake....I was excited.....could it be anything like the real thing????Well, Mia Bella never seems to amaze me....I have been burning this candle for days and I absolutely love it....it actually smells like a yellow cake with butter cream icing the more you smell......And the best part of it...you can indulge in the fragrance..with absolutely no calories and all the pleasure without the guilt !!!!To me its the best of both worlds......

A tragedy struck very dear friend of mine yesterday.....father of a 12 year old little girl working out of the country in South Africa. His little girl was seriously injured in a fire in their hotel and badly burned yesterday....they lost everything...passports, important papers, money, credit cards they used for food to pay bills, their clothes, everything they had with them from the United States so they don't have money for hotel , food, or to pay the medical bills until Dad can get the banks to reissue the cards. Dad is working on trying to get the credit cards replaced...

How do I tell my daughter about her test?
Comments (2)I'm sitting here worrying about Hannah because she has to go for an upper GI series, barium swallow and small bowel follow through in the morning. The test will take 4 hours and she has to drink barium and have pictures taken every 15-30 minutes. I know that this is not invasive but to make a 7 y/o child have to go through this.....This is hard on even an adult. But a child?My other worries are fear of the unknown...What will they find? And I worry about the amount of radiation she has to undergo as a child with 4 hours of testing.Well, I have to keep her NPO after midnight too. I will...

A bad day....but thank goodness for kids!!!

I am running back and forth to the vet and animal hospitals with my 4 dogs and it is costing a fortune. I'll pay anything to get them healthy,though because they are just like my kids.Our lab,Bruski, has been battling vomiting and diarrhea off and on since the beginning of March and has been hospitalized once and on a multitude of meds. Hannah has ADHD but had been doing well lately.....that is until today...or should I say it is now yesterday.....It seems like everything I told her she wasn't supposed to do...she did.
